SMSTimer
SMSTimer is my first real attempt at creating something publishable. The concept is simple enough; let’s say i want to wish a friend a happy birthday exactly at midnight on their birthday, but i have a meeting or school early the next day. This application allows you to set a timer that will go off exactly when you want triggering a java file to send your pre-defined text to the user selected from an autocompletetextview filled with your personal contacts. There is also the added feature of repeating messages which can be set to go off starting at one occurance and ending at a daily message. This feature is designed to allow you to send reminders to someone you know on a more regular basis without you having to do a whole lot of work. Make sure your friend or kids get up everyday with a friendly reminder. The UI is made to be simple to understand and has sort of an old terminal feel to it with the color scheme being black and gray-green. The app is persistant enough to not only withstand being killed by either the user with a 3rd party app or the OS itself, but will ensure all the alarms killed by a reboot will be reset if they have not been missed already.
